The coating surface density of electrode sheets is typically adjusted using a ‘trial-and-error’ method. This method involves coating a sheet, drying it, and testing to confirm whether the desired surface density has been achieved. If not, the coating blade is adjusted, and the process is repeated multiple times until the target surface density is met. During the multiple adjustments to achieve the desired surface density, the following issues may arise:
- The slurry may dry prematurely, forming particles that cause scratches on the coating;
